Happy Halloween! We hope everyone in the neighborhood has a blast tonight with all the ghouls and goblins! But we also want to remind everyone to take precautions and stay safe. Travel in groups, avoid dimly-lit areas, and avoid areas with overgrown vegetation that might obscure visibility or create trip hazards. Don’t eat candy that isn’t wrapped or has been opened. Avoid being distracted by cell phones or text messages, keep your head up, and stay attentive to your surroundings.
There are lots of tips assembled on the internet for Halloween safety, like this list from Reader’s Digest and this one from SafeKids.org. Please take a moment to review these tips before the trick-or-treat festivities begin. And last but not least, have fun!
